Student Activities Reimbursement Program
Baker Web Academy is committed to ensuring that all students have access to enriching activities and learning opportunities beyond the classroom. We strive to remove barriers to participation and work with families to make activities accessible to every student.
We proudly support a wide range of enriching activities, including:
- Youth sports teams and athletic leagues
- Music lessons or participation in band, choir, or orchestra
- Art, dance, or theater classes
- STEM programs, coding camps, and robotics clubs
- Academic competitions and enrichment programs
- Leadership programs and community service initiatives
- 4-H, scouting, and other youth development organizations
- Workshops, certifications, or skill-building courses
Support options may be available to assist with costs, transportation, or other needs related to student activities and school-sponsored events. These opportunities are designed to encourage social connection, personal growth, and well-rounded learning experiences.

Field Trip Transportation Assistance Program
Families are encouraged to reach out to our staff with any questions or to learn more about available support options. Our team is happy to partner with you to help identify resources and solutions that meet your student’s needs.
OSAA Activities
As a student in Baker Web Academy, you are eligible to participate in Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) activities and sports through your local school district.

All OSAA Activities
Fall Activities
You may be charged the same “pay-to-play” fee as other students participating in sports at the school, but should not be charged more than that.
These are the OSAA sports and activities that your local school district must allow you, by law, to participate in. It’s important to note that these activities must be competitive to qualify. For example, if the school does not compete for choir, they do not have to allow charter students to participate in choir. Additionally, if the activity is non-competitive or not on the above list, though the school allows charter students to participate, any associated course/activity cost will be the financial responsibility of the student/family.
OSAA Participation Steps
If you would like to participate in one of these activities, please complete the following steps:

Complete this BWA participation survey.

Complete this OSAA form through the Academic History section, either printed and scanned or in Adobe.

Email the completed form to your regional principal.

As long as you meet the eligibility requirements outlined on page two of the School Representation Eligibility Certificate, your principal will return the signed form to you via email. Take or email the completed form to the athletic director of the school you’ll be playing for.

If a class is required as part of your participation, you will be required to have a transcript sent to BWA at the end of each term.
Those must be mailed to:
Jen Long, Registrar
3000 Broadway St, Baker City, OR 97814
Please note that if the activity you want to participate in is not one that is listed above, the school does not have to allow you to participate.
